No, it needs an external ignitor. I'm using one from an Eclipse.

An external ignitor from an Eclipse?

I'm not sure how the Haltech works but what are your ignition capture settings?

I use a 78deg trigger angle, 5deg tooth offset, 60-2 trigger wheel and single tooth cam input...hope that helps, maybe the haltech won't fire spark unless the timing points are synced up

After i recently got my G4GF rebuilt and the mechanic couldn't get spark or injection pulse and said he thinks it was something to do with the Haltech but what caused the haltech to crash my tuner and Haltech haven't had a issue with the platinum 500 before but my tuner came to the mechanics workshop and got it to start. Haltech said it's was caused by a dirty signal from crank trigger, there is a crank trigger issue and likely the trigger disc clearance to the sensor may be wrong ,the tuner was able to "filter" the signal.

If you convert to push, you have to use the Eclipse non-turbo clutch. Go to Atelierhp section and contact Denis about the clutch and alternator relocation kits.

I finally got spark, so that's cured. But, when starting the motor I can't get more than half a turn of the crank before the starter gives out. Going to need a new one.

You're certain it's the starter, not the battery?

Look buddy, I've been working around people in all sorts of industries for a good long while now. Long enough to know that sometimes even a recognized expert needs two seconds of another set of eyes looking at a problem.

Then again, you do have to be a *little* mature to realize things like that don't speak poorly of the expert in question so
