Done with the lamps and they look great. The car will sit mostly garaged, so I think the lamps will stay clear for a while til I feel like paying for the sealant.
Got the new starter in and it now fully cranks, proving the other starter just lost torque. Autozone said it was still good cause it turned. They probably don't check for how much torque it provides. Anyways, just need to adjust the fueling.

Still messing with the fuel, but all this starting requires a battery at 100%. I've had my Osyssey for several years now and it went dead from sitting. I did some shopping and found that Autoplicity had the best price. I found a secret code:35offshipping that dropped the price to $101.82 shipped. I can't believe how expensive these things have gotten since first used in Eclipses.

Hey guys! Its good to see there are still some "veterans" on the forum! I recently killed my engine on two step (stupid!) so have decided to build the bottom end once and for all. For those that don't know, I was putting down 426/399 on 25 lb's of boost and E85 fuel. Its a shame I didn't get to make a pass on the stock bottom end at that power level. My best runs (with 80 hp / 60 ft/lb torque less) were 12.00 @ 121'ish. I would have been deep into the 11's on a stock bottom end. Oh well, I knew it was going to fail sooner or later with those numbers. I'm just depressed that I killed it on two step, bent cylinder 3 rod and cracked the wall. If you guys want big power, switch to E85, I was able to advance by timing 6 degrees (vs. my 93 octane tune) and still hadn't hit mean best torque (ran out of dyno time). The weak point is definitely the transmission once you start making big power numbers. I've gone through about 4-5 of them (3 before the quaife). I say 4-5 because it's hard to keep track lol. I ripped apart two stock differentials (they actually tore in half), destroyed the teeth on gear 3 and have experienced the tapered roller bearing cups grinding into the case causing excessive end play...
So now I'm finally going to install my Wiseco 8.8:1 pistons (had them for about a decade now), ordered up some Pauter rods and ARP hardware last week (thanks Jon for the info on the studs - old thread). Bottom line is I'm going to build it right and shoot for high numbers - looking to max out the GT3071R turbo (figuring 30-35 PSI will be its limit). Hoping to break the 500 whp mark which I think should be do-able, especially on E85.
Quick question, what fuel rail fits these intake manifolds? I was still running a stock rail with stock FPR believe it or not. I'm also going to have to do new injectors and fuel pump/line upgrades to supply the needed corn lol.
Look forward to more build info and information sharing, miss the RDTiburon days!
Regards,
Tyler
