as much as you will hate it, you will have to drive my car OP. i have gone head to head with a civic SI 5-speed when my car was bone stock. I got her by a good foot.
then again, i'm really saving up for a swap. i have mixed emotions. with a swap costing $1500, and my N/A parts costing $3,000, that would have easily been a Turbo Automatic.
I'd rather have the thrills of 5-speed. Is there any way we can dyno our cars together this summer? How much does it cost?

That answers it right there... women and 5-speeds don't go together. rolleyes.gif No offense to Tibbychick. wink1.gif SIs are good for 15.5 stock... now you can't tell us you can run a stock automatic, horribly geared, heavy Tib that fast.
Dyno runs are like $50 for a half hour... which is good for about 3 runs.

Shark2 is absolutely right, my auto tib is very slow and other thing is the weight.
I have a 17" rims, SAFC ( not tuned well ) 2.5 exhaust, short ram, silencer ( muffler ) and my time in 1/4 it was 18.02, very bad, right.
I think maybe if I take off my rims and I do the revving with brake, maybe i will be able to make 17 sec. but i will try it.
BUT for those that have slow Tibs, there is a solution for that. NOS!!!!
after that nobody can say that we are slow. lol
well, that is my solution,...

HKC, you remember how you were screaming from excitment when I flored my car? And I had barely any traction because of the rain.
Autos are for lazy people. And are not meant to be fast, at least with our cars.

Dosent the auto only lose 5 whp, I know that is a sigificant difference when tuneing and stuff but I dont see why those auto tibs are so slow in the 1/4, more so than the manual, I tink the tibs were more meant for turns anyway
I have an auto and will go to the drag strip in a few weeks to get some times for a lightly modded tib smile.gif I think I can get 16 flat atleast. I hope so, never launched before I thought about it during autox but no trans temp sensor
