the heavy duty pp, and 6 pad sprung disc. I wanted her to go with the Xtreme Pressure plate, but they dont seem to make it for the tib. Its not even available on act's site. So we went with heavy duty pp, i have used one of those and they are quite similar to stock pedal pressure, and the 6pad disc grabs harder then the street disc, can hold a bit more torque, and is better for ocasionally track use..especially when preloading off the line.
hd + 6 pad sprung good for 303 ft lbs torque
hd+ street disc only good for 236 torque

is it the .60 comp AR turbo that you got?
yep 0.63 ar exhuast housing
..this is a post i made on my local forum that i admin on about he ebay "57" trim.
QUOTE
Okay so i always new the ebay "57" trim was not actually a 57 trim, but i never actually went and checked..so here i did.
But its in the description itself.
check out Exhibit A
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Tru ... 240%3A1318
Info:
Quote:
Compressor Specs :
3" Compressor Inlet
3.000" or 76.20mm Major
1.988" or 50.50mm Minor
Compressor .50 A.R.
Compressor 57 Trim
57trim eh..given those specs...don't think so
Proof:
Trim is calculated by inducer squared/exducer squared times 100
(50.5)^2/ (76.2)^2 x 100
=43.9 trim
These turbos are all 44 trim not 57 trim...you can't find a 57 trim compressor on ebay, well i tried, and they were all the same 2" incuder, 3" exducer...44trim.
Anyways thought i would let people know.
Atleast they got the trim on the turbine side almost right...
Who knows if its the right AR. It's hard to tell because they dont give you the measurements you need to calculate it yourself.

i had the same clutch in my tib when it was pushing 8-10lbs.
really nice clutch, very streetable, yet grabbed when you let the pedal out at any rpm. you will enjoy it.
yeah, when i bought my turbos from CX, they were just labelled as t3/t4b with a .60comp AR. and .63 turbine.
heres some good pics i took taking the turbo apart to the CHRA, comparing it to a garrett t3 .42AR just to show some differences in the way it was built and such. i was impressed when doing a direct comparison, although i didnt wanna crack open the CHRA, just to avoid having any issues when re-assembling it.
china vs. garrett

good pictures socks. People really do shit on china bob alot and maybe rightfully so, but for the price you really cant knock them. Maybe ethically yes.
but the problems with the turbo's usually happen within the chra, but if your really that concerned...buy a 50$ garrett rebuild kit and swap eveyrthing in, your still in for less then a "real garrett".
the bearings are usually a problem in them, but for 250 bones...alot of people run these turbos for YEARS...which is more then i can say about alot of the gt series turbos i have seen lately.
I have a 1350$ garett gt turbo..which is not rebuildable, too much oil pressure in these things and boom there goes all your money.

yep, only reason i didn't tear apart that CHRA, was that it was a customers turbo. i will be buying one soon, just for me to crack open and check everything out in more detail.
even if the turbo lasts them 15k miles, they can get a brand new one, and still have spent less than even a garrett reman'd turbo, which is why i am starting to push these chinese turbos also.
