Melissa got her stock fans off yesterday, and decided (because of her AC) that she is going to mount them pull style.

So she does it, and the mounting hardware (those gay zip tie like things) sucks ass...it doesnt hold the fan..it just "lets go", and the fans sag..and would fall off haha.

Any suggestions on what to use to mount them? Shes thinking of nut and bolting them, i suggested regular zip-ties...i duno??

Try using two zipties per mounting point: take one zip tie and put it through the fan and rad, and instead of bringing the end back to close it, close it with another zip tie.

You can also put the ziptie through a washer at each end

Either way if you tighten a ziptie, i don't see how it could 'sag' unless it breaks off

By the way, you might still be able to mount the fans push-style on the front side of the condenser

regular long zipties work the best.. thats how i mounted my fans to my koyo.. one medium (~1/4" wide) tie in each one of the 4 mounting holes works perfect..
