How many miles have you covered @ 300whp? To be honest from my experience I reckon 300ft-lb torque is about all the stock trans can handle. I covered about 25,000 miles @ 280whp / 270lb-ft with a td05-20g turbo on the stock engine and trans with just the phantom grip lsd and mines been fine until I upped the boost. I've covered about 5000 miles at 350whp and broke third gear twice at this power level. Stock engines still running sweet though :-)

I had about 20-30k daily driven. I did abuse the hell out of it as well. I probably didn't drop the clutch as much as I just rolled on it. I only had a few passes down the track on slicks which where the real abuse happens.

Sounds like you need get in touch with clutchmasters and order up their 7.25" twin disc rated @ 700hp they will also make a hydraulic slave cylinder conversion kit for our trans if you ask nicely :-D

What clutch are you running at the moment?

I already did the push conversion with the Mitsu ACT plate and disc. Should hold over 400hp. Once I get there, I'll see what I need next.

I took off work today and am actually working on the turbo, eliminating all doubt in my setup being the culprit for the massive oil leak.

Hope your troubleshooting goes well. Are you burning oil from a cold start or only once warmed up?

Both. It's leaking out the exhaust side of the turbine. Normally this is due to some kind of blockage, or a really bad rebuild.

So here I am draining about 1 to 1.5 quarts of oil into a large cup at a time. Takes about 2 minutes to do so, then I stop the engine and pour it back up top. Then repeat. Oil is still leaking out the exhaust side, so there's definitely a blockage in the turbo somewhere.

That doesn't sound good :-( would it be cheaper to replace the CHRA rather than rebuilding again? It really sucks that the seals have gone, it happened on my previous turbo.

Dude the video is marked as private ;-)

They are NEW seals. This was a $550 rebuild by Majestic Turbo in Waco. If I had known first that it would cost this much, and/or that it would come back with these headaches, I would have just bought a whole NEW turbo. Now I'm out the money, plus I'm going to have to buy a new turbo anyways.

Fixed the video setting.

I feel for you mate, I really do! I remember reading some of your previous posts regarding contact with Majestic Turbo. If I were you I would send them a copy of that video and see if they are willing to help you out...
