Latest time consumer: 1.5hrs/day to running. Yup, every day. Lost 20lbs since late January.

You just make sure that sandwich you owe me contains lite mayo, turkey, and swiss, on wheat.

Ugh, started to get the itch. Went to start it, cranked, no start. Probably clogged injectors from sitting for.......another year.

Took a pretty picture though. lol

Thanks guys. Doing some heavy research into the oil leak out the exhaust. The fitting I have has a lip on it that would potentially cause a backing up of oil. BUT, it's a pretty common fitting and I haven't seen anyone else complain. So, I'm going to try restricting the oil a little more. I recall there being slightly more oil than normal leaving the oil return line when I had it pouring into a bucket. So hopefully that's the case and I can move on with this turd.

I'm just gonna put this here for notation and reference for others in case someone is dumb enough to put a Magnafuel 4303 pump in their car.

The pump is rated at 14amps @45psi. I installed it using 12gauge wire and a 20amp fuse. That should be more than enough even at higher pressures right? Wrong. These pumps have issues, especially after sitting for a few months. They tend to whine a bit more and draw more amperage as they "age". It kept blowing the 20a fuse.

This time I upgraded to 10g wire and a 30a fuse on a relay direct from the battery. The wire is good for 50 amps and the 30a fuse should go first. We'll see how this holds up.

Now on to the turbo problem again...

Glad to hear you've got the fueling problem sorted. Man that engine bay is soo clean!

Have you got your new gearset yet? Just curious as to what gear ratios and final drive ratio you have decided on...

Cheers

Dan

Thanks. It can stay clean beacuase it just sits in my garage all day. lol

You're thinking about TDonnell. He sent his gearset off to PAR and we haven't heard anything from him yet. https://www.hyundaiaftermarket.org/f.../page__st__360

Arh yes, sorry my mistake, I'm always confusing you and TDonnell. So what kind of magic have you applied to your gearbox to prevent it grenading like mine and TDonnell's?

Nothing yet. I haven't grenade a trans, even when I was at 300whp. I was too busy shattering clutches. I do have a Quiafe LSD and built axles. I'm waiting for Tdonnell to put some miles on his new gearset before deciding whether to have them made by PAR. I may just send a set to get cryo treated in the meantime.
