Finished up my gauge/switch panel. Although I don't really require any switches at this point. It's projects like these that I wish I had a CNC machine. Even the aluminum is difficult to work with, especially when drilling odd size holes. I included a USB panel port. The Haltech is behind the panel directly connected. Makes connection simple!

Every day is something new.
I had my front bumper ripped off a few years back and tore off all the mounting tabs on the sides. In short, the bumper couldn't go back on the car. So, today I took a chance and ordered a "pre-painted" bumper from ebay. I read through all his reviews and they seem very reputable. Plus, the total cost isn't much more than some are selling the bumper unpainted. My car has only been sitting out in the sun maybe less than half it's life, so I'm hoping it should match up with the factory paint fairly well.

Seller: mbiauto
Updates for other parts are: Waiting for shop to weld sump. Should be done this week. Fuel rail is being tapped by a friend of a friend for a case of beer. So who knows when it'll get done. Tuner is very familiar with the E6k, even the F6. He says he'll have no problem getting her tuned.

I've never seen any of those, or a place to buy them. You can't buy the first one you posted, which is the only one I'd chose over what I have. I had a hard enough time trying to find the one I have. Do you have a link to purchase the first one?
Yeah I kind of figured that from the way it looks. I also figured you'd know it would need more cleaning, I'm sure the weld shop can butter it up before they melt it together.

And today I bought LC calipers for the process of eliminating my BBK and going small. Sometimes you need to make sacrifices in order to go fast like Ricky Bobby.
Are you crazy? This is going to be a dragstrip only car then?
I know the baby 10" rotors won't stand a chance against all of the power you'll be making.
Can't you get 16" slicks that will fit? If not just swap from the BBK to the stock setup when you go to the track. It only takes about 30 minutes including bleed time.

Yes I am, and no it's not.
The Accent calipers should do just fine with a nice rotor and pads. Calipers that size do just fine stopping 8 second Civics, so why not a 10 second Tiburon? At that point, I'll also have a chute.
For road racing, like you said, it's a 30 minute swap of the calipers, rotors, 17" wheels, then bleed. That wouldn't be a weekly, or even monthly ordeal.
As I mentioned to you before, there's no tire that's going to get you traction on a 15 or 17" wheel. The best you can do is 8.5" wide slicks on a 15" wheel, and even with those you'll have severe traction loss halfway down the track without bleeding off boost with a boost by gear system. Limiting power intentionally is just retarded. Right now, I'm only basing this on all my Honda friend's experiences. But, as you know, our Tiburons produce a TON more torque than any small Honda motor. That makes our situation worse.
There's only ONE way to get wider tires for our cars, and that's going to a 13" wheel. To do that, we need smaller calipers. You get much more variety in sizes, and much more side wall. Every inch of tire width makes a huge difference down the track. You should also see what happens when you stretch a slick a little wider wheel.

I hear you. When I ran my 11.97 @ 127.58 I spun completely through third gear on 225 drag radials mounted on the stock 15's. That was after the 2nd gear burnout with the tires at approximately 18 PSI.
If I could 60' the car that mph is already good for the 10's...
I can't wait to see pictures of the dragstrip wheel/tire setup once you're done.
I just like having the piece of mind of great brakes on the street, since I do drive the car hard most of the time.
Question, do you have a cage yet? My friends are always pleading with me to get one but I haven't done it yet.
And what exhaust manifold are you running?

My tuner also does cages, but I'll get one after I run sub 11's. lol
Tim built my manifold long ago. He just recently stopped running Turbo-Elements after moving in my town. I purchased my ksports and Haltech from him. They were from his Elantra Wagon which had 400+hp. He now races Civic hatches.
