130 downhill on the back roads of Fort Bragg. Car wouldn't go past 130, and wouldn't go past 125 on the straight aways. Wow, in retrospect I can't believe how lucky I was that I didn't hit anybody. Never again.

my tib - only been up to 100 mph. I'm sort of afraid to push it.

my boyfriend's civic hb - we think it was around 155-160 mph since the needle kept going and the speedometer stopped at 140. the scary part was the engine didn't show signs of letting up on the speed at all. 8O

210 km/hr at 32% throttle. Reason why I know this is I was monitoring my AVC-R. Held that for like 30 seconds then backed off, didn't want a ticket!! Actually might have been going slightly faster as I am running larger diameter tires than stock. (215/40/17) smile.gif

I know this thread is old, but thought it might be of interest to some of you here to contribute this. While I've only been up to 160km/h in my tib (it started handling terrible - very "floaty" on the road), I had my GPS receiver sitting on the dash at the same time. The GPS and speedo agreed on my speed the whole time to within 1-2km/h.

Fastest I've ever been in a vehicle was 170mph in my friends corvette, then 145mph in a type S mini cooper with mods, and the fastest I've ever driven in a car of my own was 135mph in my old thunderbird, but I'm a little nervous to push my 4 cyl faster than 100

I hit 130 again on the way back from a car show and a freakin bike flew by me like I was sitting still.

It made me think of the guy in MN that got a ticket for going 210. lol.gif

Fastest I went was 200kph, it still had some pull left but I decided to let go of gas since my exit was coming.
