Whats Your SPEED.....?
135, had to teach my buddy with a civic a lesson...im very impressed with how well our tibs can handle those high mphs. Mines lowered and got struts and it handles great and feels great at high speeds. GO tibs!
Had to edit this...i just read an earlier post where we are governed at 130...i dont think so man, i know we dont have a mark there right? but i was right there definitely past 130, maybe it was cuz it was a lil downhill...

just because you have rpms left does not mean you can go faster.. this is where drag and friction come into play.
If you look at the drag co-efficent of rds it can easily drive at 145Mph if it has proper power to pull it up that fast, thats why rds arent drag limited there goverend!!!! incase anybody wanted to know XG350 tops out at 150!!! 8O
THere was a debate about this on hp I think, the gearing in the tibby won't allow it to go over 137, your speedo may say higher but in reality your not. Every speedo has a tolerance, +/-, and the faster you go the higher that tolerance gets, the only way to go faster than 137 on stock gearing is to get larger wheels or have someone that can go faster than that push you while in nuetral.
I could have sworn that last time I was in Germany, it was still called the Autobahn... someone wanna correct me here?/aquamarine.
Very good..au-to-bahn laugh.gif , you get the sticker. I agree w/ Redzman he's 100% correct. I was gonna call bs but the stories were fun to read.

I had mine up to 190-195!!!!!!!!!
KPH that is. Estimating around 115 or so. Everyone has their favourite stretch of road, and mine is a stretch of straight highway. Once you hit this overpass there is no way to get caught. No turnarounds, other off -ramps, nothing. By the time they know you were speeding I'm of the highway and in my driveway. LOL

basically it's like this.. unless you got a readout from a CALIBRATED radar or laser gun... I am not believing anything over 130mph. Just because you saw it on your speedo does not mean that was the speed you were going... Lets do a little math.. if you speedo was off percent from accurate... 130 would be approximatly 131 1/2. If it was off by the allowable 5%.. you are looking at 135 to 137mph...
This does not make allowances for aftermarket tyres and rims.. the 205/34/16 that is popular is NOT the exact same rolling diameter as stock.. it is only off by less than an inch.. but that can add up also..
As it is.. 130mph is fast enough. that is a mile EVERY 30 seconds... pretty exciting on a puplic road, no?

im not saying it was accurate im say what it told me. and thats what everyone else did, so we all got the numbers from the same place. how does this effect the numbers when we compare. sure it might not be 100% right on, but who really cares

Tibby.
Come on mang.
Don't lie.

You had two pair of eyes that were either...
A. Looking at a miscalibrated Speedometer.
B. Looking at a BROKEN Speedometer.
C. Looking at the speedometer while driving down a 45 degree slope.
