Default Re: Initial D 4th stage 5 & 6 (5 and 6 are now released!

Just wondering whats the fastest you've pushed your ride?

With or with-out mods....

Completely stock I've been to 145 mph, on 80 W from NY to Ohio.
I flew past two 18 wheelers and had to look at the speedo, took my foot off the gas fast. Slowed to 120 mph and rode that into Ohio.

I thought that our engines top out at 137mph???? and don't you have limitor that will cut it off at abut 130mph?

I went 126mph and could have went faster, but had to slow down because of the traffic. It was with WAI and 4-1 header smile.gif

125mph under the central tunnel on the I-10 in phoenix laugh.gif , all stock, that was around 5800 rpm or so, so still had some speed left.

i got a ticket doing 109 in my tib, last year. Lost my lisence for 6mos. I still have the ticket if anyone wants 2 see. It sucked tho, the cop wrote me like 6 different tickets, wreckless driving, excessive speed, illegal muffler, illegal tint, & illegal lane change. At the time my tib had only a cat-back (removed resonator, prolly why it was "loud").

Not worth it. Spend about $4000, in tickets & surcharges & for a laywerr.

I honestly didnt think it would go that fast either, but for the rest of the weekend that was all my brother could talk about!!! That and the fact it only took us 6hrs from NYC to East Cleveland. Usually a 10 hr ride. lol.gif

My tib... 125 to get away from a road rager...

My father's old 260z... 140mph and climbing when I chickened out

My fiat.. 122 mph.. 10 mph over the factory limit and 500rpms over redline when the car stopped accelerating.. that and I was getting beat to death from all the wind.. I do not suggest high speed testing in a convertable with the top down.
