The shaft felt great when I got it. Spun like a new turbo. No play and spun freely.

$800? I pondered buying a new one when they first told me it would cost $550.

I sold my bars long ago. Didn't think I'd need them anymore. I think there were only 5 sets made. Wonder where the others are?

Just got off the phone with him and he's still saying it has to be my setup, but he'll look at it anyways. I swear, if he doesn't find anything and still tries to blame me for it.... My voice will get heard.

All businesses screw up. They're run by humans. But only the poor businesses refuse to take ownership in their mistakes and blame the customers.

Yea, but that isn't the case anymore since the recession. It's now 1.22 of the US dollar. $700us = $850cad.

I know a guy locally that is looking to sell his PT6266 for around $600. I may end up buying that if this Majestic thing doesn't pan out. The 6266 won't provide much power til 5k, but will easily support around 700whp.

This is what I put together this past weekend. I still need to remove the oil pan.....yet again....and drill a 10an into the back of the block, then weld one more down in the back of the pan. I don't think there's enough room to drill 2 fittings in the back of the block and I wanted at least one up high, not in the pan. I definitely get more blowby than stock with the wider ring gaps, and I suspect that once I start putting down ludicrous powerz, the blowby will get exponentially worse. And I'd hate to have to keep chasing down blown gaskets and oil leaks.

Got a call back from Majestic yesterday. He said he went through it and found oil where there wasn't supposed to be oil, and an oil ring that wasn't seated correctly. He may have also swapped out the stepgap ring. I didn't feel 100% warm and fuzzy over the fixes, but he did go over it thoroughly and says it should be good to go, and best of all didn't charge me for the fixes. Can't wait to get it back on.

Cool, I'm liking the crankcase ventilation :-) I've been thinking of a similar setup myself. How have you secured the an10 lines to the cover? Are they just drilled & tapped with threaded couplers bolted in?
