Frozen's Build Thread
Here's a video from a few days ago.... Keep in mind there are a couple of exhaust leaks as I am missing the turbine exhaust gasket, as well as the wastegate gasket. Haven't had a chance to work on it with the house renovations and all (and doing a sidejob this weekend). I'm aiming to have it up and running with the MS in, in 3 weeks. It won't be done, but I'd like to have it somewhat driveable at that point.
edit: The idle is still pretty rough in this vid too, had a small vacuum leak still. You should have heard it before I fixed my vacuum leak (forgot a hose that went inside the cabin)

Here's a direct link if that doesnt work, i'm having issues with this. http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r143/fr...nt=311eeaf1.pbr

Worked for me.
Looking good my man. I've heard you can connect up everything and just remove the BOV to keep boost out of the engine if that's what you're trying to do.

lol it will spin just as much with the pipe open as it will without a bov. the bov has no control on how much the turbine spins. the wastegate controls tat, the way he has it it is filtered. If he connected everthing and left the bov off he would be taking unfiltered air.

Got the rest of the parts for my MS. Hoping to work on it towards the end of the week, and attempt to install it on the weekend. I might be picking up another job for the weekend so we'll see what happens.
What I have for the MS is; MS-I complete, all options, as well as a bunch of other mods like knock sensor, MAPdaddy 4bar map sensor... I ordered the MS-II board, a couple of BIP FET's for wasted spark, boost control modkit/solenoid, PWM IAC mod kit, a Jimstim package, as well as a GM IAT sensor kit (welded bung instead of a rubber fitting).
I purchased my MS unit from a member here (Bullfrog). However, I had no idea what the mods on it were. I ordered the new parts from diyautotune.com, and sent them an email with pics of my MS and a small list of the items that were out of the ordinary (I had no idea what they were for or what they were). They we're pretty much able to tell me exactly what was going on with this board, and praised whoever assembled it for doing such a good job. This is one of the few companies out there that would take the time to study and explain someone elses product just to help out their customers. Amazing service, and from what I've read about on their company, they've always been like this. Highly recommended.
