Motor pic since I was outside with the camera yesterday. The last part of this build that will let me complete it is the clutch. As mentioned I am trying to work with Dennist to get a part to allow me to use the DSM clutch. He is very busy with other things right now so hopefully he will find some time to put into it soon. Will be a very nice thing to have available for us.

I will probably put the motor in this weekend and let it sit with no trans. This way I can start on my downpipe and intercooler piping. Will also be running my nitrous system lines soon. I want this thing to be road ready when I put the trans in. fing02.gif

What are you going to use to hold the motor up?

the engine motor mount is strong enough to hold the engine just by itself i had tranny problems last winter and had it hanging from that single mount for over a week and everything was just fine.

not recommended by any means but when you dont have the right tools you gotta do something to finish the project.

hey ericy what exhaust manifold is that? system upgrade? something custom??

Looks good Eric. What oil cooler are you running? Make sure you have a thermo on there. 2nd, you will have to point those -8 outlets from the adapter downwards unless you plan on relocating your alternator.

Not sure on oil cooler yet but it will be something with a thermostat. AS for the alternator, it will be in back where the AC compressor was. Should have my bracket for that finished this week.

The manifold I got from Madjohn. I have no idea who made it but he said it was built by a guy there. It is pretty much identical to the system manifold so who knows. Then I sent it out along with my turbo housings to get ceramic coated. Cant wait to run all my piping and get this thing running. Ill grab some new engine bay pics in the next couple days.

Looks good Eric! Are you making your own alternator relocation kit? Want to make two? wink1.gif

Yes I am. I should know soon if I want to make up another one. Just depends on what it takes to finish it.

By the way I think Im going with an ACT 2900 pressure plate with a 6 puc unsprung disc. Should be perfect for my goals and they hold up incredible for the DSM guys from what Ive found
