Tightening to 100lbs as opposed to stock which is roughly 65lbs isn't going to damage anything as long as you did it in steps. Especially since you have ARP studs.

Thats what I thought. And all the other studs are fine. I think I actually had a bad one somehow.

Well, its been a while. The head is one and the motor is pretty much done. Got my spare Beta2 head all tore apart waiting for some machining and valve springs when I have money. Manifold and turbo housings should be back in a week from ceramic coating. Here are some pics I took of some supporting mods and other fun stuff I have in my room.

AN TOOLS

BRAKE STUFF AND MSD

FUEL RAIL, AN FITTINGS

NX DIRECT PORT SETUP PARTS

Pretty much finalized specs of the entire setup:

GT3582R Turbo
Tial 44mm WG
Greddy RS BOV
3-inch v-band exhaust with open dump tube to start
Big Greddy FMIC - 2.5 hot side piping, 3 inch to TB
1000cc injectors
Walbro 255 in-tank
-8 fuel feed all the way to the rail
-6 fuel return
-6 coolant lines for turbo
-4 oil feed with inline filter to turbo
-10 return to pan
Nitrous Express Direct Port kit. Not sure on what Ill spray at if at all
The DIS2 may be used but I should have my COP setup done in a couple weeks so Ill run that
The head will have 1mmOS valves, Ferrea Springs, locators, and retainers as well as a good P&P done locally, Cams to be determined
Megasquirt Standalone
Innovate LC1 wideband
Quaife LSD
DSM clutch conversion - clutch to be decided yet

Will determine what kind of boost level Ill run at a later time. Ill probably have a few maps (low boost, high boost street, and a track tune for race gas) My goal is over 400 without any spray. Want to nail a 12 flat or better at the strip with my LSD and slicks.

Other things being done are all new brake lines in stainless, repaint engine bay, Evo hood, and a lot more that I cant remember anymore. Questions are great as well as comments!

The brake lines? Yep, stainless. Im using a hydraulic flaring tool. Cant remember who its made by but the thing works amazing. Its what I use to do them at work also. Never did stainless and I heard its harder so well see how it goes. Im sure Ill be fine though.

As for the nitrous lines they have you using compression fittings which I really dont like the idea of. So well see what I do with those.
