A) Plugs are a must, yes. To be safer, I might even go two steps colder...
B) You don't start with a 50 shot... you start as low as you can and work your way up... I would also use the fuel nozzle for a higher shot on the lowest shot possible (ex. fuel nozzle for 50 shot, 35 shot nitrous). The only way to really test a nitrous system is to use it, and you want the most safety possible when doing it |
Ham, those guys work their asses off to find out the optimal jet size, so I don't think you need to use bigger fuel jets. Just Stick to what the manufacturer recommends.
Fuel pump might be a nice upgrade once you go over 50 shot. |
Meant for breaking in the system, not permanently. Better to have an extra cushion of fuel in case something goes haywire on the install.
