Go look at your car, you'll see on that side that there is almost no space for any metal to go to the third bolt at all because of the cruise control mount.

The bent one in the pics below, for the strut mount, is identical to the other one, just has 2 bends put in it.

The motor mount bracket IS one piece. It's just bent to an L shape. You'll see when it gets there.

Remember, I had these on my car for months, worked great. Just need a bit of space for the cruise control module, and that's easy enough to do.

When you get them, you'll see my brethren. The double bend on the strut mount one would probably make it clear the cruise control fine, but of course that'll take a bit longer for you to make.

When I took them off, I did look to see if the 3 bolt hole one was possible, and it is, but there would be very little support on that third bolt in the back.

Hey, Z, I don't remember if I told you or not, but those other engine dampers could be taken apart and adjusted by moving the spacers around. We adjusted the GK tiburon damper you sent, fabricated brackets and applied it to a 01 Eclipse. It may be possible to do the same to these if you ever get another car and want to keep the damper.

ok bud, we'll leave that part alone and i will use the majority of my time on the bottom bracket, while looking at clearance for the cruise to boot.

socks also wanted me to throw some input on the brackets..

on the bottom bracket, since ursonvs is making these (with his welding skills) how about welding a simple 45 degree angle brace so the bracket can have ABSOLUTELY NO flexing any under stress to possibly hitting the belt/gear

like a

____| but with / bracing the 90 degree angle, so regardless of the thickness of material, it wouldnt be able to move.

Nate is being a moron, I never said UrSONvUs was the guy that was originally going to make the brackets.

It was ANOTHER user here, whom I promised not to say his name in public, but it's the same one Nate was going to have do them. UrSONvUs is the CURRENT guy thats going to make them. I keep my promises, so I won't say the name here of the original person.

Missy, please don't post while Nate is banned, there is NO way for us to prove who's posting, and I'd rather not ban both of you. You know you are always welcome here, but considering you haven't posted in quite some time, but now are that he's banned...

You know what I'm saying.
