Ok here we go, this is what I have so far on your Accent. First though I have some pics of an Accent harness marked with the plugs I'm talking about. This is a 1.6L harness from a 2002 accent, The plugs that will have to be swapped with the equivalent on to the beta harness are marked MC01 and MC02 on the Cab side of the harness and EC01 is on the engine bay side.

I have also marked other things for reference.

Below are pics of the plug viewed from the back were the wires enter the plug. The numbering of the wires will be important so pick up numbered sticker strips for marking wires. Plugs MC01 (main connector 1) and MC02 plug into the Accent main harness and EC01 plugs into the engine bay fuse box. You need to make your beta harness do this to work in the Accent.

Now if you get lucky the beta harness will be using the same style of pins in there connectors as your accent. If so then you can depin the plugs to do the swap. If they dont match the you will have to cut the plugs off with at least 6 inches of wire (mark the wires before cutting) and then cut the plugs off the beta ( again wires marked) match them up and solder, lots of solder. Also if its anything like the beta 2 harness I used then there will be a lot of wire rerouting, I will no more when I crack the beta 1 harness.

i understand mate.

I'm removing dashboard and removing accent loom asap.

If u want any pics of beta loom or hyundai get in touch.

i really would like to know if ecu have built in imboilizer/alarm or weather there on a box behide dash hidden.

as my key will no longer work/start the tib engine.

I would need to remove the code pickup sensor around barel and strip down the tib key so the car always picks up the right code or have a key made up with tib code but accent key correct ?
