hahah, thanks, make me feel like an idiot tongue.gif even when nearly at a standstill when shifting down to first it stil does it, but if its from a deadstop it wont do it, so i guess thats why, well at least now i know why

with royal purple... ya its expensive, real expensive but if you do it yourself its pretty dam cheap, changed out my entire tranny fluid for about 40 bucks canadian, and thats cause i bought 3L and it only ended up taking 2, oil changes cost about 50 bucks (including filter) so if you do it all yourself, it aint that bad, at least imo considering if you get a oil change at a local lube shop, a cheap full synthetic runs 79.99 can.

oh and the tranny on a RD2 (standard) is a simple drain and fill so not to much you can screw up with that

I bought the GM Syncromesh last week and finally put it in last night, drove it last night softly to get it all circulated and shit, went out today and got on it a bit, seemed to have worked smile.gif

Thanks for all of the responses in this thread smile.gif

I had the 1-2 crunch last summer so I put in the RedLine gear oil and it worked magic! Then 2 weeks ago i changed my clutch and I decided to put in RP.....not good, crunch is back. I thought maybe I put in the wrong weight so drained out the RP (MaxGear) and put in RP(SynchroMax). Still have a grind from 1-2 if I am above 3500RPM..GRRR. So I'm gonna go back to RL MT-90 hopefully that fixes her up.
