Your syncros may be out of alignment a little cause mine did the same thing for a little while so I just drove it real safe and easy for about a month and it stopped. But if it persest try some B&M quickshift....I did that to mine and it hellped ALOT.

I will let everyone know how it feels with some royal purple.

The new clutch was just a replacement from autozone (Duralast brand).

Next mod will be a megan racing shifter from flyride.

I'll get some RP in this weekend hopfully.

Thanks for the help, I'll update this thead fing02.gif

Most definately sounds like a worn synchronizer to me. If you're still under warranty, the dealer should replace it for free. I was able to get my 2nd gear synchro replaced under warranty (I believe they replaced the actual gear too).

I have the exact problem too! Its only my 1-2 shifts though and only when I do it harder than normal. I need to get some of that RP. Right now I have Castrol Sytec 75-90 or w/e its called.

well i'll repeat my advice from above because i really didnt explain to well.

when i first got my car i had no trouble but after a few months i started having trouble with my shifting. it would kinda feel like it was grinding n made noise as i would shift into second and felt like it didn't want to go in gear sorta like i had to force it. it wouldnt do it if i granny shift only when i was given it some go. i took it to 2 diferent places one called the clutchouse (i wonder what they do?) and the other a transmission shop they both test drove it and said the sycro's are going out. well chit to get synchros replaced it would cost a arm and a leg well more then it would cost to put a new tranny. soo i said f-it i'll drive it till it wont go no more. i have been on here for about 3 months at that time and kept reading about redlne and royalpurple and synchromesh over n over. so one day as i was geting my oil changed i asked the lube guy hey how much to fill the tranny up if i bring some oil of my own. he said it would be cheaper and asked me what fluid did u want to use i said well either redline or royalpurple. well.. he said i have redline here if you wanna put it in cool.gif ya! put dat chit in. well he did and i have no trouble with my tranny what so ever its been 4 months sense then and no problem. the car feels like new again it slides into gear no noise no vibration no grinding and no problems.

soo go get some dam better fluid and get rid of your problems. hmm 50$ or 800-1500$ for synchros make your choice.

This actually started happening to me (once in awhile), only between 1-2 at WOT, just this past week..
about 60k on my engine/tranny, like 20 on clutch.
