I think im about to get out of the hyunai scene and part my whole car out.
This shit doesnt stop for past 6years i had the dam thing.

 

my car recently started doing this as well (i'm n/a)-... i did some searching and realized it might be my oil FILTER. i haven't changed the oil since this info surfaced but i'm switching to hyundai OEM next time.

there is a hyundai tsb on it. apparently, it's pretty common.

its not coming from or near oil filter or pan,coming from the block or camshaft area.

 

Don't decide just yet, it's better to cool off and then think what you will do; sh!t happens you know, and if it's your HLAs, only thing I can comment is we all have been there sometime...
HLAs are not expensive nor expensive to change, and if it's that and you fix it, you will be very happy with your car again.

 

it may be bent valves. that compression test numbers are too low. i remember that my scoupe turbo had 7.5:1 pistons and it was around 150psi on each cylinder. just my 2 cents

 

Ok taht compression check was probaly wrong cause i didnt do it right.
Do you think it could be knock sensor or cam sensor?
Ok how can you tell if it is hla without riping all apart?
book said push on them and if they go down there bad well all of them go down a little so thats like $275
for all of them,cause dealer $17 a piece.really not worth it my well get another engine and thro my pistons in it or swap it from engine.

 

Ask for a quote for a HLA set on SFR, I got mine from kspec back in the day, and it was waaaaay less expensive than your dealer has quoted you.

 

i would but sfr would probaly take months to get,there shipping is horrible from what i read always takes mad long.
I want this car to get fixed quick so ill way my options and see.
Might just start parting out everything.Its lways something new fix one thing whole another pops up.
Might just wait for the new tibs come out ge one of those,and take the lose on this car.
