When i rev the car it gets little louder and kind of sounds like something is hitting inside.

Did you touch the engine at all? Ticking sounds sound like lifters. Hell, might even be a misfire..

Lifter tick.

Thicker oil may clear it up, but beyond that i dunno. Prolly a lifter tho. Otherwise check that ur injectors arent goin bad...my injectors tick like lifters when they r goin out.

Doesn't seem like the injectors would just go bad like that though..

What gasket were you replacing? Manifold?

even if its a lifter tick, i wouldnt worry about it too much until it starts to get worse. and ull know when it gets bad enoguh that there is a prob. my shit ticks once an a while.

some of the guys made a joke when they heard my lifter tick..

My lifters used to tick a little bit in my car then it just went away after a couple oil changes.

If it's a small ticking it's not a big deal, it's when it loud and obvious that it's a bigger deal.

I honestly dont know what could be causing a very bad lifter noise after doing just a oil change and changing a turbo gasket unless you actually messed with the engine.

hmmm, i dunno then

mine is faint, u can hear it if uve got the hood popped. its a rapid sound, but it isnt loud. for me it just adds to the hum of the runnig motor and all the SS exhaust. i cant hear mine when the hood is closed or even if i walked away from the car.

maybe urs sounds worse than that...it sounds liek it at least.
