Is it possible this is a TPS voltage issue? Maybe you need to adjust the TPS sensor.

Sorry. Had to be done.

I already determined it is a voltage issue a couple posts ago.. at idle it's around 1v when it should be lower. I know how to resolve it..

Why is everyone so grouchy on here nowadays?

Nobody is grouchy it's just faith being faith. How else does a user manage to get that low a reputation score? Personally I find it amusing that your problem is possibly a physical/sensor rotation problem and he got all made about how nobody got his hint, then went on about a totally not-sensor-rotation-related fix.

Since when is it a hint, faith? I dunno, I missed it just like everyone else who read the thread up to the point when I gave my 3-posts-later suggestion that set you off. Like I said, hints are legally allowed to roll off a man's brain like water off a duck's back. WOMEN take hints and get all stressed out trying to figure them out.

I have determined the issue to be the tps orientation a couple posts ago. I have bored out the holes a little to let me twist back the tps and it did lower the idle voltage. I just need to get it down lower so need to widen out the holes more. Simple fix once I found out what the voltage was supposed to be and using my multimeter.

Lol, thanks. I've been around for about 5 years now starting with rdriburon.com..

On a side note, does anyone know where to access the information from hma.com as in like a mirror site or something? If I need to buy a membership I will. Liked when it was still free though.

http://www.newtonnet.co.uk/coupe/service/mechanical.htm has one year, and for things for most RDs it's close enough.
