before you tear 1/2 the car apart-...

check and make sure it's not a hydraulic issue-...

bleed the clutch-...

check your slave and master clutch cylinders-...

for the slave make sure it moves freely when pressing the clutch

for the master look under dash around clutch pedal for fluid leaks

they sell repair kits for both, quite a bit cheaper than replaceing either system

i made the mistake of replacing the clutch,pp,tob, and flywheel (findanza, and oem clutch had 135k on it-... not a total loss) when it was my master cylinder that was causing the trouble.

I usually pull my Axel the ole tie rod/pry bar way,but last night I tried ("Thanks but i called viper966 and told me to take the 2bolts off the strut tower and then remove the drive shaft, we did and it was tons easier. and we didn't have to mess with the tie rod") ,And yes it was way easy! ,But,now everyone is telling me I need an alignment done now because pulling the 2 strut bolts throws it out!,If I did it the ole tie rod/pry bar way it would have remained aligned!?, I argued This theory with a few (non Hyundai)people today.................So,am I wrong???

People that tell you that usually are trying to sell you alignments.

I have done the following to my car since I bought it, with NO alignments done, and guess what? Car is running fine still.

2 different sets of rims, with 4 different sets of tires (no bad tire wear).

Eibach dampers and HKS springs.

Both axles out and clutch/pressure plate/flywheel.

Big brake kit, full brake lines/caliper painting.

I got it now. The two bolts down by the brakes. That wont do anything. No worries.
