Well, if it was that simple i wouldn't have spent a whole week end measuring and machining part to adapt the clutch on our flywheel ;-)

Seriously, the bolt patern and the offset are wrong

building a Hyundai isn't like building lego blocks (honda, Chevy....)

this is the "overbuilt" way so far...
i'll try to do something cheaper and safe...
this is only one part of the puzzle, for the rest i already know what to do since i worked allready on it, i just need to fab up some prototype stuff

Very nice. Something like that works for me as long as its not crazy expensive. I would imagine that should hold up great. When you come up with a final version or whatever just let me know. Nice work

I think I see what you've done there... That's not terrible, but yeah it probably isn't safe either. Looks like the pressure plate won't make full contact with the clutch disc either?

Well anyway, the money is waiting...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Denisst99 @ Jul 9 2009, 07:38 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>i just need the friction surface diameter and dowel pins size (if stepped)
but, from memory the surface friction disc cleared barely the stock tiburon 215mm disc, so i doubt that they will work with a 225mm disc like used in the turbo cluthc kit</div>

You are correct. Fidanza makes the friction surface just barely big enough for an OEM sized clutch disc/pressure plate. So people with this flywheel are hosed, like me. 02.gif

Hey Guys! I've got some exciting news on this! I've been talking with my contact at DXDRacing and he's very excited about the work that Denis has done. He says more than likely they can build a 'super' clutch that will meet all of our needs based on the N/A Eclipses 215mm clutch disk size. He just needs a Beta 1 and 2 OE flywheel to play with. What do you think?
