i got the the bar as a swap for a couple of wheel centre caps off a mate, not sure what make it is as there was no branding on it. This one was rusty too so i cleaned it back and gave it a lick of paint

Great job man, I like the jack test! Gotta do my passenger side sill/skirt area in the spring..

How do you like the brake upgrade so far? Still using tiburon/coupe rotors? How bout brake pads, any recommendations for switching to dual piston calipers?

Brake upgrade feels good, still bedding the pads in so have tried to avoid heavy braking but the brakes do feel sharp. I 'm using front rotors off a sonata which are 11" and the front calipers off a trajet which are twin piston, same ones as on the xg350. Pads all round are black diamond predator, never used them before but heard good things about them, they do feel good and should be even better once bedded in.

I'm currently running stock springs and struts but have re-drilled the front arb so the droplinks fixing is closer to the pivot point making it stiffer. It handles really well, body roll is minimal on the twisty bits but is still soft for motorway driving.

spent the last couple of weeks refurbing an air ram that i got last year complete with a 58mm bbtb.

It sits very close to the clutch reservoir, i know some have just left the reservoir hanging loose but i decided to get it out of the way completely.

While the manifold is off it seems an ideal time to change the clutch master cylinder, modified the existing reservoir bracket so i can still bolt the servo hose to it.

New location for clutch reservoir, not sure it will stay there but it will do for now

I hope to get the air ram fitted and have it up and running this weekend

Amazing work!! Looks better than mine! I would really throw those altezza lights out the window and grab some American tail lights (brake lights are so much cooler than the european ones).

I 'm in the UK so shipping and import duty on US lights would cost more than the lights are worth

I bet you could find someone around here to ship you a set cheap.

This REALLY makes me want to find a silver RD1. There's one in WA with a shark spoiler, but I'm sure it's rusted up there.
