had a slight hiccup during the strut bar build due to the welder packing up on me, managed to fix the welder with a new part rather than having to buy a new welder and the strut bar is now finished.

Pretty pleased with how it turned out and not bad for a first attempt, shame about the strut mounts but they are on the to do list.

Have also refurbished the ps pump with a new bearing and new o rings throughout.

Lastly, picked up a second hand set of headlights that were already fitted with angel eyes and a 6k HID kit.

Dude, your car is beautiful! Love everything you are doing! It's actually starting to re-ignite my ass to get out and start working on my Tib!

I just noticed in the pics your brake reservoir is on the opposite side mine is! LOL! Is that stock for the F2 or did you move that as well?

Think harder bro. lol

But, yes, your car got me to buy an RD1. I've been slowly accumulating F2 Evo parts.

thanks for the comments, as for the brake reservoir it's right hand drive over here so all rd's have the reservoir placed there. All gk's it's on the other side, whether left hand or right hand drive.

Thats interesting about the RDs vs the GKs. I was curious cause the engine layout is identical to the US. I figured it would be similar. The brake lines and reservoir was the only difference I noticed. I'm not that familiar with right hand drive cars.

Either way, your car is looking great! Keeping an eye on this thread for sure!

Wish it was on the other side, it's an absolute b*tch to get to the master cylinder where it is. When i replaced the front to rear brake lines i ended up removing the plenum so i could get access to the unions that are just under the m/cylinder.

The car came with 2 slow punctures that were due to ally corrosion/flaking on the inside of the rim, this meant it was worth getting them refurbed professionally. I've been undecided what colour to go for but white was always in the back of my mind. I had one wheel done just to see what it looked like and i think it works. It looks better in person than in the pic, the others are being done and will get some outside shots when they're all back on.

had a mate who's a detailier come down on saturday to give the old girl a once over, a long session but she's now been clay barred, machine polished and then waxed.

Picked up the rest of the wheels on friday and they've had 2 coats of sealer so should make them slightly easier to keep clean.

I love those wheels, especially since they are OEM. I plan to have a set shipped over. I'll probably just recoat them the factory silver though. Or maybe gold. Not sure what goes well with the white I have.

Blue car with white wheels works well but not sure if it would work the other way round. Someone in the club has a white Siii with white wheels and it looks good.
