The looks we got were priceless though. SUVs, trucks, and a few cars rolling by this string of lowered imports on a dirt road Lil.
I like the idea of having a track day on Saturday and the cruise on Sunday. The meet is really only two days, so I figured those days should have a car based event.
Depending on what we do Saturday, I'll probably be up early to go do some hiking. Heck, if it's in early August I might have to head over early to check out the local festivities.

Do I get to vote twice?!?!? LOL!! An August meet would mean that I could also visit my family for a week or so in Arizona, then head over and visit my second family in New Mexico. wink1.gif
^ Yeah, but Friday was spent trying to get everyone together last time. Maybe that day could be devoted to creating interesting gifts for the people who can't come lmao.gif
^^I was also thinking I could stop by and say hello to family.

Friday would still be the gathering day. LOL
Labor Day in 2009 is on Monday, the 7th of September.
So, I'm figuring that we get folks coming in at whatever time on Friday. Go for a short drive/hike and then BBQ on Saturday. Go for a longer drive or track day on Sunday, and maybe do our dinner out night after this one instead of Friday. Monday, folks can leave at whatever time or we can go down to Old Town, or Museum Row.
We'd also probably have plenty of time to do a car show at the dealership for a few hours too on Saturday before the drive.
I've got a few good ideas for places to go for some AWESOME pictures now too.
Let me look at some hikes, distances from Los Lunas, and post back here.

This sounds AWESOME
A track day would be a blast
and I am down for nice long cruise, the more cars the better, I guess it helps I live in Albuquerque.
As soon as I know what dates were talkin, I'll try to get them off from work
great idea RED

I got free track bucks with PASA (Pro Auto Sports Association) and have been waiting for them to do their events at Sandia.
There are two this summer, and I have 4 track bucks. So I will be there June 6-7 and August 14-16 with or without ya.
See ya there?
