Turbo ? for the Turbo Masters of the Universe
Red: Speaking of T-2's.
I have my old 1st gen Tib lying around that I need to fix up and do my turbo project also so I could at least run that car as my grocery getter. My concern is that I have a T28 garret turbo lying around from my se-r which was a hand-me-down and first car. to my knowledge it is the largest T-2 from garret with an A/R of 0.86 and T-3 compressor housing with an A/R of .60. Would this be a good candidate for a Beta turbo project? I'm looking at a honest 200 at least with the stock 10psi boost. Would that be very likely?

Ehhh, possible but doubtful... While the compressor side is probably big enough, the exhaust side is going to be a constriction. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't hit 200 horsepower with only 10psi from that puppy, but I'm betting you could do it with perhaps 14-15.
Of course, I could be wrong, it's been a while since I've seen a T28. A long while wink But I'm still thinking that's a less than 400cfm turbo, which means it's gonna have to work hard to make your power.
