Well some of us can't help going with a piggy back. mad.gif

Here in Maryland, the emission testing centers are actually state run. Which means that for the most part people can't be bought and bribed.

It really does put a dent to my setup since I wanted to go with a haltech.

~700 dollars for a piggy back does sound good for those that can install a piggy back ecu.

There's a NEW standalone system out that will be OBDII compliant put out by perfect power. I am desperately tryign to find the links but I'm sure if I post this someone will find them faster.

It's got the plug which plugs into all hand-held OBDII readers and works will all normal codes.

That's not bad, but it also depends on how much it'll cost for someone to install it. I was interested in the PRS because it was cheap and I could install it myself. You could also uninstall it easily for obd testing. If you have the money, then go for the XMS.
