you don,t tee in the injectors, our ecu really don,t like it
you could remove the stock ecu from the 4 normal injectors, install 4 larger ones then have the smt6 control them
you'll have to builda time consuming map as it will be used al lthe time (start up,vacuum,boost...)
you could also just modify the maf signal with the smt6 and use 4 larger injectors
you will basicly use it like a SAFC,cheating the maf signal to a lower value, making the stoc ecu that less air is going trough the maf
but this has side effects, igition timings is increased (ecu see less air meaning less loads, meaning more igniton timing advance)

Well well,I have to go with this diagram on a european tiburon:

BUT I have to check all the connections because european ecu connector is completely different.

My question is : what is the "engine speed output"?I can see that i have to go on pin 8 of the SMT-6 "IG1 IN,also RPM delfection"....what is it?
Thanks a lot hail.gif

^^^
That signal initially comes from the coil. You can also get the same RPM signal from the ckp sensor a (pin 16)

Uhm....the coil...I imagine that the ECU is connected to an Ignition Control Module,so the engine speed is this signal, from ECU to ICM. Is it right?

I went to the workshop to see the car.
There are two coils,so I assume that it is a DIS - waste spark system.
I must coinnect this engine speed on the negative side of one coil?

I'll try to pull the hyundai wiring diagrams... but why do you have to take the RPM signal from the coil to the SMT-6 while, you can just easily tap it from ecu harness while installing it anyways???

Because european wiring harness in different, also the ECU connector is different.

etiliko, I have been meaning to put up a diagram for the UK tiburon but if you search for posts by me you will find the ECU pinout for UK tiburons, should be the same for EU tib then just use the diagram above with your ECU pinout.
