Haltech Plug And Play Harness - Tests Complete!
For now I am just going to keep the stock sensor, unless the votage input/output is different between the two.
BTW: couldn't I just splice a new connector on the existing temp sensor wiring for the thread in type?
When I go turbo I can purchase this and install it myself, thanks for the offer though.
Will that sensor work with the stock computer?

They are different, actually. Don't fear, I developed a custom offset curve for the Tiburon sensors on Tommy's car, so it will work.
Yes, I suppose you could splice the way you wanted. This is your preference, of course.
I doubt that sensor will work with the stock computer perfectly. As I mentioned there was massaging I had to do with Tommy's E8 to get the stock one to work. However, it will probably be acceptably close enough.

I just finished the ECU plug portion of TDonnel's E6X setup! I will be base mapping the E6X for a 99 Tib Beta 1 in the next week or so. I can sell the map to anybody that is interested, plus phone tuning support. Here are the pictures:

Hey there! NICE PICS! LOL.
I can't wait to get this baby in the car and start tuning!
I just wanted to chime in here and let everyone know how great my experience with enthalpy has really been.
He has gone above and beyond my absolute highest expectations as far as communication, assistance, and professionalism. It has been nothing but an absolute pleasure shooting e-mails back and forth with someone who knows much more than me about tuning and setup parameters.
Response time on e-mails is only a few hours, if that, unbelievable; and these responses are roughly a page long with detailed information/suggestions.
Phone conversations have been in-depth and at some points challanging to understand due to the level of the discussion and the topics on the table.
TRUST me people, you need to do business with this guy, you WILL NOT be disappointed in any way.
Of course, I have yet to test it in the car but I have no doubt it will work with minimal if any flaws as he is going to test it on tommy's car before sending it! Talk about service and quality, the actions speak louder than words here. And I can assure you, if you have ANY questions during the process enthalpy is more than happy to recieve a phone call and answer them.
Anyway, enough flattery; lol. Looks great and I can't believe that is actually my ems/harness, I have been waiting to get this done for so many years!
Thanks so much for all your help so far Enthalpy.

Wow, Tyler (tdonnel)! Thank you for the kudos! I'm interested in giving my customers good experiences because I know people are using their hard-earned money to do this.
Tyler has been a great pleasure to work with as well. He has an above-average knowledge about how this stuff works, and his questions sometimes made me have to research them to give him a complete answer!
Yeah, as I recall, that was a messy experience. LOL!!

Dude, wait until you see the thing in real life in the shell of your old ECU. Yeah, better have an extra pair of drawers on hand!
Yeah, as I recall, that was a messy experience. LOL!!
^^^Hahaha! lmao.gif I'll be sure to keep some on hand.
No problem, the compliments are well earned/deserved. I hope you get repeat business for your and their sake.
Tommy, get better so we can test this on your car! Thanks for letting Damon do that by the way, I greatly appreciate it.

The E6X is now running the car!! smile.gif
I must say that the install was fairly easy, the hardest part was running the IAT/Igniter/MAP sensor wires through the firewall. Nothing too challanging thanks to Enthalpy's work, lol. wink1.gif Everything works to perfection, thermo fans, A/C (oh yeah), IAC, couldn't ask for a better result.
We had to do some 'tweaking' to the base map due to my huge injector size (850cc), but it runs VERY well now after multiple road tuning sessions. It is actually more powerful now than it was with the stock ecu, on a safe (hopefully, lol) STREET tune! I can't wait to get her on the dyno and get her dialed in to perfection, I wonder how much power it will make?! As far as I know I am the only one with this level of engine management installed on an NA tib, and with all my mods, it will be interesting to see what she can really do... tongue.gif
I just wanted to mention again how amazing this experience has been and anyone who is getting a standalone needs to have Enthalpy (Damon) wire up a plug and play harness!!! fing02.gif
The best part is the ease of un-installation for emissions, all I have to do is plug in the stock ecu, swap to stock injectors, unplug the igniter, install the stock o2 sensors, and install the MAP sensor (maybe an hour of work). Sweeeeet. nana.gif
Thanks very much once again to Damon for all his help and Tommy for letting Damon base map this on your car! cool.gif
Yeah, I kinda went crazy with the smilies, lol. lmao.gif
