Well i found a 1g turbo fpr and i was planning on getting little bit larger injectors if you could check on the 1g for me that would be awsome.
Thanks.

nice find dweet smile.gif

so are you saying that just having that FPR, and larger fuel pump would give us enough fuel for 300whp? you will need to upgrade your injectors as well.

so basically the dsm fpr will be just as good as any other aftermarket fpr? and all you need is a set of injectors, new pump, and somthing to control injectors!

but I think you can achieve the same results with just a bigger pump, SAFC and a new set of injectors. I don't think that our stock fprs are too restrictive.

is the DSM fpr adjustable?

I talked to some local DSM'ers, one guy is running mid 12's with his stock 2G FPR in his Talon TSi. Only downside its not adjustable. However this same guy is running a Walbro 190 fuel pump. If you go to a Walbro 255 or any higher flowing pump you WILL need to upgrade the FPR to an aftermarket one, I recommend an Aeromotive.
But yes the FPR is as good as any aftermarket FPR as long as you use the Walbro 190.

As far as hitting mid 12's with a pump, AFC and bigger injectors, ehh doubtful because our MAF sucks. It uses a 1v - 5v reading. The Karmen MAF that DSM's use talk to the ECU in a totally different manner. It uses a Hz scale and not a V scale which makes it alot better.

Anyways the setup that the DSM'er that I talk to is running 550cc injectors, Walbro 190 and stock 2G FPR, oh yeah he is using nitrous as well but is hitting those numbers with a stock 14b turbo as well I believe.

I know about our MAFs, but I think i will be using an aftermarket FPR with 255lph pump eventually, now I will be good with FMU

why would you fork out the bucks for an FMU when you can get a DSM FPR for like $20 off of dsmtrader.com

I bought it a long time ago, and FPR will not do the job of FMU, it will not raise the pressure high enough to support all extra air added unless you have bigger injectors.

if its a 1:1 FPU its going to do the same thing as these DSM FPR's.. Also you have to remember if you are using a 190 the pressure will be even higher, I really dont see an issue with it.
