If you use the alpha II trans, most everything will bolt right up minus the exception of needing a XD elantra bracket on the passenger side..

Wiring is a whole other story..

As for the brakes, I did the xg350 setup on the front with Kia Spectra5 rotors redrilled to 4x100. Ended up having a friend of mine make custom hub rings so that the rotors would fit.

That bedliner looks amazing, and is a great idea.

loving your work my friend, that's one heck of a project.

In the UK we're not allowed to paint over the brake lines as they would suspect you have painted over to hide the rust, it'd fail the MOT (i think).

Decided that the engine and trans needed cleaned up so I stripped everything down and sand blasted it all. That of course was followed by paint.

Before

After - Yes, I'm changing the oil filter and I cleaned up the overspray already

Started to mock up the MC a/c compressor to the Beta block. The Beta block only has 3 bolt holes to be used whereas the Alpha II block has 4.. So naturally the top left bolt wasn't used.

The MC compressor finally bolted to the Beta block. I had to use nuts between the block and compressor on the bottom bolts as there was a gap when tightening everything down.

Push clutch conversion with ACT 6 puck sprung disk and custom ACT Maxx pressure plate. This setup should hold close to 500hp.

These pictures are technically from my tib build, but they are still in the trans which is now in the Accent.

Collar from AtelierHP pressed onto the Beta II input shaft cover

Had Colt Cams do a tri-flow regrind on my Beta II cams. Went with Crower .035" lash caps to make up for the reduction on the base circle of the cams.

Modified the stock Accent fuel canister to accept an on3 320lph e85 compatible fuel pump. I converted the stock feed line into a return line, roughly 5an, and ran a new 6an feed line to the bay.

By the way, the Race Egg will be ran on corn power.

Drilled a hole in the top of the canister and added a 90° bulkhead 6an fitting.

Ended up having to remove some material on the inside of the canister as the pump was too large to fit

The new pump with with a 6an push-lok fitting and hose. Wired in the stock fuel pump harness connector too

Pump and canister fully assembled and ready to drop in

The pump and canister back in the tank with all of the hoses/lines hooked up
