I haven't bashed anyone.

I also haven't done a dyno.

So what?

I haven't made claims like others, and I don't have a SC.

LOL

^^ Redz has always said he doesn't care about straight line performance, and doesn't bother with dynos/tracks/etc. He is interested in the best bang for the buck for better everday driving.

The alpine is inherently a bad unit. It is very difficult to set up an intercooler and its going to max out its boost at probably around 12-14PSI. Its not meant for huge power output.

You know, it suprises me that more folks don't know that, OR that they don't do the same.

WOOHOO! I can do the 1/4 mile in .4 seconds!

Great, can you take a 90 degree turn at 85MPH and stay in your lane?

Obviously the car is going to be bad in the twisties if you neglect the supsension. Let yourself think that power is everything and neglect your suspension/brakes. Any road with curves, and a stock car with a built suspension will beat the same stock car with double the power on a stock suspension.

Thats not always true, my mustang had skinnies up front and mickey thompson ET steets in the back, I got into a bet with a freind who had a new vette and he said he would beat me if we raced around the block instead of a 1/4 mile, he was wrong, by the time we made it to the first corner I was about 500 feet in front of him, he made it around the turns all fast but I pulled him on every straight, the whole race was about a mile and included 6 turns and I beat him by about a 1/4 mile at the end, it was funny. If you want your car to handle good thats all good but you wanna have the power to pull out of the turn as well.
