I thought he meant big "BADASS" cams as you put it since he was talking about getting the most HP out of his dollar.
He's also on a tight budget. BTW, those BADASS cams will only get a couple more HP, so yeah, it's still the best bang for his buck. He'd also have to get some ECU tuning as I said. The SAFC won't do it good enough.

Uhm. No.

I NEVER SAW that you mentioned the 1.8 cam before my post.
Read next time.

but don't be an ass about it.
And why would I change who I am for you?

I don't see anyone else with that attitude.

The difference between a stock cam and the 1.8L Cam is very minimal, however for the money it isn't too bad.
Most of the folks with them installed swear by them. I've got 2 I'm gonna install soon.
My dialup runs 0.7KB a sec. Cut me a little slack. You posted 4 mins before me, and I don't reply right when I open it. I usually open the reply on all the topics I want to, and reply one at a time then. I never saw you and Ultra start talking about the 1.8, so I never could read it. rolleyes.gif
You underestimate what some 264s or some higher cams will do for a car with an already good intake path. They'll do way more than a few horses than the 1.8. Especially with your favorite modification of all, the Air-Ram. lol.gif wink1.gif

I did this in the street and it took not long at all... I had all day so I didn't rush and actually had a corona in the process too (just like that pic in the "other" DIY posted). It's not a heck of a lot different than painting the cover, except you just gotta get the chain right... ever put a chain on a bike?
For a daily driver, a grand on cams is crazy... that could be a lot of other modding too.

What is the A/F ratio on a stock tib, trying to figure how much gas Ill save and how much more extra room in the combuston chamber Ill have, the gas is in a gaseous state rather than tiny droplets in the chamber right?
