My point to you is, your always on my case with my products looking out for the Hyundai community preaching efficiency, safety, reliability. So, I bring a kit to the table that is all of that, and now, that all gets blown out the window and all that matters here is a guy makes 257whp killing the setup and it is going to give my kit a run for the money. I dont understand you sometimes. Sometimes, I think we are finally getting past some issues and then you take another stab.

Hey TC, who were you talking to here?

I really can't wait to see your SC fitted on a RD, if it fits, I'm buying one.

257 whp or no, I still find amazing that there is no detonation @ 10 psi, non-intercooled, and stock compression.. even more so since the blower adds a lot of heat as T.C. points out..

What octane fuel are you running and what's are the AFRs like?

Hello,

DMdicks. Anyhow, I need someone with an RD to test fit. Im ready for whomever is willing. I honestly dont think it will be an issue on fitment.

Thanks T.C.

LOL, I knew the would get TC's goat. It was all in pure fun. I know for a fact that's its gotta be BHP not WHP. A non-intercooled MP45 pushing 10psi won't make 257WHP. Not possible. The MP45 just can't flow enough CFM at 10psi to make 250+WHP. Especially with no way to advance timing. Not possible.
Still I give Bal props for what's he done with his setup. I'm probably one of the only people that know all the crap that he went through to just get his kit from Alpine. Then all the problems he had afterwards. OMG. For him to get to this point is a miracle. So I'm definately NOT knocking his setup.
One thing you have to also remember is with a roots setup its takes power to make power. The MP45 has smaller rotors so it doesn't take as much HP to spin. With that said the MP62 on NGM's kit is just barely breathing at 8-10psi so there is MUCH more potential.

One final note. Not once did I knock TC's kit in this thread so I'm sorry if he can't take a joke. wink1.gif

Hello,

I can take a joke if thats what it was, its just hard to distinguish with your track record with me. Anyhow, lets move on. Good thread, and good effort on his part.

Thanks T.C.

For sure. Since whats her name in the UK had her RD1 running 199WHP with about 10K into the engine, meth injection, and much more, his is probably running like 210 to 225 somewhere, which is amazing for sure, I am not trying to downplay his results.

Just wanted to make sure folks knew this.

Well, that's all we needed to hear. Feel free to post a thread here asking for a test fitter, with a good address for them to mapquest to, and we'll get you a car. I'll even send a site email out about it.

I'm pretty sure it'll fit, I'm just worried about hood clearance, and that folks will have to use solid mounts or at least a engine damper to keep it from hitting the firewall.

Feel free to call me too man, you have my #.

Thanks for all the input

I am running 95 RON fuel.

Xorro was running meths and 5th injector setup with unichip and getting 199whp using the standard pulley.

I have a totally different setup using a smaller 2.25" pulley, bigger injectors and a better tuning system.

The only way I can prove the figures for my car is to get another dyno run from someone else, I will be visiting a track day sometime in December so I will get a confirmation on the figures.

The feed back has been good and has encouraged me to keep going with this car. I will post up my dyno sheet displaying WHP sometime in the near future.

Sounds good.

Can anyone find the HP range for these different SC's? I remember I found and posted them once, but i can't find them again.
