I am in rich text editor in FF 3.6.8 running Windows XP.
I can move my cursor anywhere I like.
DTN, your complaints started long before FF 3.6.9 was available so while the issues now surfacing are possibly connected, up until this point it has not been an issue for the vast majority of users.
I think I will hold off on upgrading FF for the moment, considering that with 3.6.9 it is a known issue.
At one point I was going to make a video demonstrating that I know the difference between the standard and rich text editors and that it worked fine for me in multiple browsers across multiple OS but in the end I didn't think it would have any effect except for wasting my time.
