I was just picked up a 09 Cobalt SS (Turbo). I am never going to get around to doing anything with the XD. I still have the 14 Elantra GT for long trips (This is Wytch .. something went wrong with my account... made a new one)

What is for sale?

XD with 140kish miles (ill update this tomorrow and get an actual mileage) that has sat for way too long. It either needs a bit of work to make a great putz around car or ... anyone want to do a beta swap and have everything. Engine, trans, harness, ecm, etc.

Not wanting to part it out - don't have the time or I would and make far more off it.

Make an offer - lots of sentimental value :-/

The Bad:

Tires are shit - holding air but might not make it a block down the road.

Bushings - if it's being brought back to daily - the suspension bushings look rough

Interior is.. bad. Fixable... but bad.

Paint; if you dont get too close it still looks decent. (Pics being uploaded)

Brake light switch is out - kills the battery

headlight switch may have a short that turns the headlights on and tries to kill the battery.

Its really grumpy until its warmed up - seems like its more an issue with holding fuel pressure - like the fuel pressure reg on the pump is letting it drain off.

brakes are probably trash now due to rust and the pads cleaning the rotors off when I moved it around to keep it alive.

Engine was doing great when it was parked. The engine has an intake I bought off someone, AEM dryflow filter, and an unorthadox underdrive pulley on it. Had synthetic oil and hyundai factory filters all its life.

5 spd trans with good syncros - would probably need new MT-90 to make it slick again. ACT clutch still seems strong. Poly shift bushings are still good. B&M short throw installed on the car.

The radiator is newish.

Struts are from a tib and fairly low mile - sprint lowering springs on it.

The tires are crap but I have the OZ lancer rims

flowmaster muffler on it currently.
