- I'm sure there's more, I just can't think of it atm...
I bought the car New and it's been treated very well, always receiving either Amsoil, Redline or Royal Purple Oil changes with Factory Filter. Trans has always been serviced with Redline MT-90..
It's been used for mockup with aftermarket parts that either I've had made, or I was doing with the aftermarket back in the day. It's never left my sight for more then a day so there's no monkeybusiness been done to it either.
Now that all the good has been said, the ultra short list of bad.. It needs tires and the timing belt done. Good news, I have all the parts to do a complete timing belt job including waterpump and idlers. If you want the parts to DIY, I'll give you a Fidanza Cam Gear in Red or Clear (sorry, the blue ones ran out years ago) to help offset the cost/time.
Bodywork is good. Only dents/ding are minor are are on doors/roof. Bodyshop quote to R&R was $500. Front fenders are rolled a bit as well. Paintwork is quite good except for rear spoiler, just sun faded as it's plastic.
Everything else is in great shape, working order..
So why am I selling? Well, I've been in the Hyundai community since '05, I've seen a lot, done a lot, and gotten f'ed over by a lot.. The joy is gone, and I'm simply ready for something new without all the bad memories of people and companies.
I'm willing to ship car, provided you set up your own transit. Or come out and drive it back.
The price is $5500, and includes everything listed above.
Car is licensed and tagged in CA until Jan/'13. Located in Los Angeles, CA...
Thanks!
Stauf

No offense, but theres no way someone is going to buy a 7 year old Hyundai with over 100K in mileage and a few bolt ons, for $10k. MAYBE if you had the turbo installed and it was running amazing times and horsepower, but otherwise...at that price, I'm guessing its going to be for sale for quite awhile unless its sold to someone outside of the Hyundai community that doesnt know any better.
Not trying to hijack your sale or anything. Just trying to be realistic so you can think it over again and sell it at a more reasonable price that people would pay. Either way though, good luck and hope it does sell. Its a nice car.

Hey it's an old RD guy! Well, the book on it is nearly 7k to begin with. And it is a car, and everyone haggles over price anyways, I thought I'd start high and come down. Or isn't that how car-sales usually work....

I agree with majik. There is one for sale on e-bay right now in about the same shape as yours with a few more miles. Buy it now is just over 5K. I know your car has some mods, but sadly mods don't normally increase the value of the car. And most people looking for a new DD would pass over a car that is modded. That's why you see people returning their car back to stock before they sell. (option you may want to consider).
Not trying to bash your sale, I wish you luck.
for a clean elantra gt

Okay, price adjusted to a firm $5500.. I can't do much less then that. It's a fair price for the condition, mods and care then car is in and has seen.
