A safety rule was ignored.

The gun should have been loaded with one round. If the shooter is unaware of how a gun will handle she/he should only have one round in the chamber to fire.

 

How about gun safety course in schools? Supervised by the police in conjunction with the schools and no live ammo on the grounds. More educated folk about guns, less dumb asses thinking they are toys.

 

Some of this is just silly. Some of you are arguing just to argue or because you feel the need to defend your country because 1 of us gave their opinion on their country.... this is ridiculous. Most people will, of course, like their country better than others.

We can all come up with facts of why our country is better but there is no one best country. "best" is an opinion. Some have better health care, some better economy, some statistically more dangerous. It's stupid of all of us to turn this poor child's death into a pissing match and that's what the majority of posts are in this thread...
