Hi all,

It's been a serious while since I was last here.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone from this forum may have previously owned a silver 1998 RD1 in Ottawa before and has since sold it. I am looking to trade in my vehicle for this guy's '98 Tib that's apparently running at 195000km, and I've noticed from the pictures that the interior dash was painted silver and seats were changed (unless I'm mistaken and they come like that for a '98 edition which I do not believe so). So that led to my assumption that it may have belonged to someone with some form of Tiburon knowledge, hence he/she could be in this forum.

I could ask for a VIN and bring up a CARFAX for history, but before I do, I would hope someone here may recognize it and tell me if there was something sketchy about it (something like 195000Kms on a 98 Tib - is it worth getting, and whatnot).

This is the ad:

Thanks in advance,

TOTib

That car is bone stock with the exception of a VERY few modifications.

Tiburons are not Type R. That's JDM Vehicles not KDM vehicles. It's not an integra

There's a sticker on the rear window

It looks like the previous owner had a dog. There's paw prints in the car. The seats have covers on them, think back to why you've put covers on your seats

Overall, I'd say the person who owned this vehicle was probly young and did not take care of the car very well. That's the type of person who usually puts stickers all over the car. You should test drive it to make sure there are no problems. Also, that price is extremely high. Look up the fair price on http://www.kellybluebook.com

Kelly Blue Book:

Excellent

Good

Fair

2,500 USD = roughly 3,150 Canadian as if 10/29 @ 1 usd:1.25 can
