2 Days To Go...
wow..this morphine thing is kinda cool...... ugh....
ok so i had my surgery this morning. went into or about 8:15. They put grape scented oxygen on my face, pushed the meds, and went along their jobs. according to docs, it was about a 3 1/2 hour suregry and i remember waking up in the critial care unit very very fuzzy minded but the doc mentioning to the other doc about my heart rate being so high. apparently i had some issues with that, but im ok now. im very drugged up. I was so nauseous when i woke up they gave me something for it too then a dose pf phenegran (both anti-nausea meds). shot me full of morhone and here i am. sorry if im rambling i cant see half of what im typing, but i wanted to update a bit. when im able to actually stand up for a bit and walk around (definately cant right now) ill get some pictures lol.... talk to everyone soon tongue.gif

yaaay!!! it's over with and you're ok!!! thanks for posting back here to update given your haziness. i remember feeling exactly like that too. they also numb the surgical area for a few days or so. wow brave girl, it's good to hear everything went well.
did they secure the cut with a special clear glue, stitches, or dissolving stitches? in 10 years ago when i had my hernia the clear glue was a new thing. it was wonderful and comes off itself in 6 weeks.
it's gonna be hard to laugh, so tell your friends and family not to provoke you.

Glad everything is ok, I hope you have a speedy recovery! Enjoy the morphine while you can, they take you off it all too soon.
(and it was kinda amusing to read your post, I can tell you're still pretty drugged laugh.gif )
