Really?

Wow, got pics?

I hadn't had any problems with mine yet. My hood rattling on my strut bar is pissing me off though.

one of mine stripped out. I tapped it and put in a bigger bolt. My bracket is gusseted and stronger then most though.

I replaced the bolts, the correct size to use would be M8 x 20mm. (I had 25mm but had to use a couple of split-lock washers).

It's a good idea to change them, also because the stock bolts are kinda short (bracket is pretty thick).

it was really my fault.. i took it apart and i think i lost a piece cause it doesn't work like it should.it worked great before put there is no pressure when i push the ends together it just collapses. plus when i first put it on it doesn't fit below the bracket cause of my cruise control so i had to put it on top and it ended up coming apart cause it was bending a weird way. so now im just going to get some kind of spacer/washer to put under the bracket on the engine side so it will sit up a little more. i also thought it would be a good idea to superglue the one end shut. so now i cant even open it back up haha

I will send it to u if u want but I can't even open it back up cause I used a few drops of super glue now that sucker is tight haha.

I think it just needs a washer inside of it. I think that was the part I lost when I took it apart

Pm me if u want me to send it to u.
