I emailed Bill about a week ago and no response. I will send a PM right now. But my paypal account was charged for this item so I am just trying to figure out what is going on? Can somebody give me some feed back?

There should be some washers in the kit to make sure there is no movement, but the "rattle" you are getting is the damper twisting at certain rpm's and tapping the mounts. It's part of the design, these need to be able to move, and I haven't seen a way to get rid of it.

Mine is not related to that. It would seem that the bearing sleeve is too big for the bearing. There is a slight tapping audible from the engine bay, but the metal on metal contact is loud from inside the car when it's near it's zero pressure point. I've adjusted it to the point where the zero pressure point is only when I'm reversing, but it's still loud. I can deal with a clunk every once in a while while shifting. That's ok. I understand the thing rotates on the bearings. This is a design flaw from the manufacturer though. It should not be rattling around.

I'm going to need a new bearing/adapter assembly.
