yeah, but when do you hold in the clutch or stick it in nuetral when you are going fast? there is no reason for it.

i did it because i planned to coast down a hill where i knew the speedo changed to 20. it was just a word of warning.

Seems like all the police on that forum instantly give a ticket if they see one.

I dont have one, since they're illegal in my state, but if I ws given one I'd probably uase it anyway. tongue.gif I bet I could do a very stealthy install. But I probably don't need one anyway, since I rarely go more than 8-9mph over. But it would be nice to know where some of the speed traps are.

There are also anti-radars, but they are illigal everywhere and very hard to find.

They detect if somebody tries to measure your speed and transmit radio signal on the same radio band or in the wide range.

And measuring speed will be imposible.

I even had friend who put aluminum foil in their cars to scramble the radar. I though it looked ugly and wasn't worth it.

Aluminum foil does reflect a type of radiation... I don't remember if its Alpha or Beta radiation though. tongue.gif Chemistry was never something I understood.

I heard it does, but you have to put foil all over the grill and other areas up front. I had a friend that put also put foil on the front inside of his Mustang. Looked like crap, wasn't worth it in my opinion.

It should be a myth. Cause aluminium foil like metal sheet reflect radiation. And radars detects that reflection to measure speed.

There are some people here who believe that if they put a compact-disc on a windshield - it will prevent measuring speed. But it's again BS.
