My new sunvisor mounted mirrors came in via FedEx today. I already have them out of the Porsche Visors and I am working on seeing how to mount them to the Hyundai Visors.. going to be a while though with everything that is happening in my life.

front rotors are not installed yet cuz they are directly connected to the hubs, need a machine press. working on it tho...

how did you get those rims on if you have a captive setup on the front? do they come with a cavity behind the rim to fit those damn bolts or do those holes inbetween have enough space to fit them through?

damn... beautiful looking X3!
Since we are posting non-Tib mods now....

On November 8, I will have this baby home, She looks a LOT better in person than she does looking forlorn in a field. Already I have bought several parts for her eventual transformation into a vintage looking street terror. Such as:

GlassFibre fenders for both sides. While there is little wrong with the stock steel, they are heavy and prone to rust. The spider is already front heavy, so every little bit helps. Plus they are easier to modify.

If you look carefully at the picture of the car, there is an ugly black mirror on the door. It is not stock. The stock actually does not look much better. these are from an early Porsche 911. Called the "Durant" mirror after the manufactorer, they are a nice round vintage mirror and better quality than fiat's

Also an early Porsche 911 piece.. Chrome windshield washers. Stock fiat is an ugly spindly thing that barely puts enough washer fluid on the glass to clean it. These not only look better, but they have two nozzles a piece for better coverage.

Beehive turnsignals. Early fiats had a slender piece that wrapped around the fender and did not quite flow. Later spiders like mine had rectangular lights embedded into the heavy (100 pound) tube bumpers. As I am getting rid of the bumpers for the early clrome blades, these were easier to insert into the glassfibre fenders and they look MORE vintage than the stock fiat. They are also getting LEDs.

And going with the vintage look. The early spider reverse light. 68 and 69 spiders, referred to as the AS series, had an all red rear light cluster. The reversing light was hung beneath the driver's side rear bumper. These parts are VERY hard to find as they were only made for 2 years. This is one of them and it will be filled with white LEDs when I am done with it.
That is all for now. Once I get the 16valve head all assembled in my hands, I will include pics of that and the other wonderful things this car will soon have. Not to mention how she looks cleaned up and in my garage.
