Thanks Ericy, that means a lot man. I'm contemplating a new engine to start my build, but I've got 2 of the big parts already.

My MS, a nice Maintec Turbo Manifold, and a few other things coming.

When the body is fixed and painted, I'll do a bunch of pics again. Just not happy with the paint right now.

love the cans, but you already knew that.

ever thought about doing a wire tuck or tidying up the wires that go to your battery?

about the only thing i would do regarding your car as of right now, engine bay wise.

oh wait, there is one more thing, but that is....hush hush fing02.gif fing02.gif

Why do you have your PCV valve AND breather( used to connect to the air intake before the throttle body) linked into one vacuum line. I don't see how your bringing fresh air into the valve cover. If I understand how you routed that your ALWAYS pulling vacuum off your valve cover. It seems like your PCV valve would be useless in that setup as you always have a path or less resistance under load going the non PCV valve route.

They look very nice and I like were you put the knock sensor. nice an out of the way.

I don't have it routed like that man. Look again. I've got one line going from the PCV valve to one can, and back to the IM after the TB.

I then have the valve cover breather vent going to the other can, and then it goes to the elbow before the TB (you can't see it, it's tapped in at the bottom of the elbow).

That T that is in the line with the PCV is for another vacuum line, and will be going away as soon as I get my vacuum manifold from Tanc.

Routing both of those lines to one catch can WILL LEAD TO PROBLEMS, I can't believe how much oil I was losing before because of that and the removed PCV valve.

As for the knock sensor, that was the first position i tried, and it worked, but the hood was hitting it. I'll have to take some pics of how/where I have it sitting now.

Yeah, I've got some plans for that, the battery is being relocated to the trunk sometime this summer/fall, and all the wiring I can move will be moved at that time. Thanks for the comments guys and gals.

You finally posted about this, only 1 year later tongue.gif

I've had the dual catch can setup with air/water separators, the one going from the PCV never catches anything. It does, but very very little. This is by far the best way to set them up though. Everything remains stock, except you put the catch can in-line. No T's, no weird hose routes, things remain how they should.

I've always liked that can, just can't justify that money on it when the separators for air tools are so cheap. Damn it looks so nice though ....

How's that thing mounted?

Well that answered my question. I didn't think you were really running it like that but I could not tell from the pictures.

It comes with 2 brackets, one is an L and the other is straight. Mine is mounted with the L bracket, there are 2 holes on the strut housing that match up perfectly with it.

And 1 year later? I just put this on like last month. LOL

BTW, customer service with the guy that builds these is TOP notch. The welds are fantastic, quality is just amazing. both have very VERY nice draincocks on the bottom for draining excess fluid.

Bullfrog, I got ya, after I typed I realized that T in there could make it look wierd.
