i´m concerd about that. wouldn't the catch can be pressurized when the car is under boost when you mount the outlet of it to the intake elbow? i made a rough sketch for better understanding.

I dunno. I'm not running boost.

Check the site out that I listed, there are a lot of boosted cars, pics included on that site, that are running this boosted.

If you read the site and are still really concerned about the boost, you could always put a regulator in the system to limit the airflow

Bump. we were talking about this in the SB a bit today, figured some of the current turboing folks might wanna check it out.

The price is fantastic for what you get, and you can always buy...

And then sell one if you really only want one.

But with the dual, you can set your lines up identical to stock.

After seeing Red Z's install pics and the craftsmanship of the cans themselves I went ahead and bought one.

I mounted it in the same spot as him, except I didn't run the PCV to get reburned I just put it on a breather after the can.

These guys have great customer service and asked several questions to make sure I got the right one.

As stated in the title, allthough pricey...definitly worth it. fing02.gif Been on the car for about 1000mi now

^^^ there won't be any "reburn" on the pcv. we took that line off at the ABQBBQ and it was spotless bud, just hook it up. besides, even a air breather will leave residue everywhere in your engine bay unless you like to spot clean your engine weekly in the cold.

Really? Post up some pics!

The whole POINT of this can setup though is to hook everything back up so your car runs perfectly. You WANT vacuum on your PCV, if you don't have vacuum on it, it's not working like it should. Hook it up, NOTHING will make it through that damned catch can brother. Trust me. LOL

I've had mine on for what, 8 thousand miles? No oil residue in my TB or IM at all.

They are one way valves, a little flap prevents pressure buildup in unwanted areas. This prevents boosting of the brakes, gas tank, and engine case. They cost $3 at autozone. Might be something to looking into.

Redz whats your point? Question wasn't answered yet.

Anyhow, I'm removing the PCV from the valve cover and plugging the port. You don't need vacuum to properly vent gas/oil molecules from entering the IM. Once, I'm finished the set up, I will do a write up. If you can't wait here's a hint: Honda-tech.com
