Hehe.. well, you were kinda right about the timing! Turned out to be the timebelt camgear, the pin (probably not the right word) that holds the camgear in posistion (timing) had broken off! So the camgear had moved out of position on the cam! Luckily I didn't harm my valves or pistons.. Sounds like an rallycar ideling, but it's really not too bad either. Acceleration at high rpm's is sick! Can't wait to get started with MS and tuning.

You guys that use colt cams, did you have to put on lash caps to adjust the valve clearance?

Pretty sure lash caps are not required with HLAs

Ehm, it works ok.. the throttle is very sensitive on low rpm's (a little touch at the gaspedal from dead position and the car makes a jump).

So, the mixture is not exactly perfect..and I have no idea about what the power gain is without the MS. But its definitively noticeably.

I haven't got the time to mess around with the car that much yet. School is taking way to much time.. fortunately, I start my summerholiday 5 days from now!

And remember, I probably got a different ECU than you guys..(europa version MAP based Siemens something).
